So, what's the estimated battery life of the Insight? Is it the same for the hybrid Civic and now Accord?

The battery pack has a warranty of 8 years or 80,000 miles. The rest of the car has the usual 3 year/ 36,000 mile Honda warranty.

Cool... Does transferring the car transfer the batt. warranty as well, marlins? I.e., if I buy a 5 year old Insight am I covered?

Not sure. Talk to a dealer and see what they say. I would be interested to know. You could try insightcentral.net, someone there will know for sure.
