In road and track there is a smaller version of the S2000 that has a 1 liter motor
making 120 horsepower that is front wheel drive. My not be available in the
US.

If the rumor is true, it will be a 2006, so a little over two years away. Spy photos do not exist, if anything, just some renderings. Pictures of the new Acura TL didn't come around until recently; everything else was a rendering, not an actual car. Since the TL and Accord shared the same platform, it is easy to keep one covered up since they could put an accord body on that platform but have the drive train from the Acura in it. They likely could do the same for the S1000 if it shares a platform. Also, it won't be sold here so you will need to scour the Japanese sites.

 

Check what Bwob has to say about the S1000. Unlike the rumors the USA magazines are spreading he knows much more real info which sometimes wills to share:
