yeah that's def. true...i just hear so many comparison of how close the Si is to the s2000 so it kinda makes me 
..i might be pulling the trigger on a 02 s2k tomorrow (trading in my 07 tC..bored with it..) so we'll see how that goes..

Plus it allowed me to get the Yin/Yang Black/Silver thing going on my cars...

I own an 07 Si coupe, but am most likely going to trade for an '03 S2000 (Test drive tomorrow!! We'll see how I feel afterwards). I would strongly suggest the Si - That's a great price assuming it's in decent condition. I think the RX-8 gets around 17 MPG with average driving (not too conservative), but I think that Honda reliability will outstand that of the RX-8. The '07 is still new, but Consumer Reports magazine has just about all catagories titiled "Best" (out of best - worst) for the Si as a used car. I havn't had one problem, but I have very low mileage, so it's sort of given (8.5K). It's a pretty fun car, and I hope I'll be impressed with the S2000 tomorrow. Just make sure that the gearing on the Si isn't notchy at all before you buy it. Apparently there's been a large issue about some of the gears (usually 3rd) grinding or popping out of gear; There's a TSB out for it, but a lot of online posts on 8thcivic.com say that they've had a really hard time to get it covered under warranty. Other than that man, I hope you enjoy what you get. The Si is a pretty rewarding car though, but I just want the S2000. Let us know what you get and what you think of it in the future dude.

Yeah, I probably won't be replacing them with the same tires. They are great tires, but I don't need anything that sporty for a daily driver. They're also pretty expensive. We get occasional ice and snow in the winter so I'll probably go with a sporty all-season whenever they wear out. I drive mostly highway so mine are still in great condition after 7,000 miles. Cloverleafs and exit ramps are still a lot of fun with the michelins.

Two days in this car and I'm in love. It's been so long since I've had a car that handles, I probably wouldn't have been able to control myself if I'd gone ahead and bought an S2000. My face hurts from grinning so much. I'm even smiling at the gas pump. I have not been easy on this car, and my first tank showed 30.5 mpg! I've gone from $75 fill ups after less than 300 miles to $40 fill ups at nearly 350 miles. This thing is going to pay for itself.
