great rare car..

but you're definitely going to have a good share of headaches with that car - reliability wasn't exactly its forte.

Do it! You only live once. An FD with a "fully built suspension and everything done" is a beast - a very fun beast at that. You can always switch back to a used S2K in the future.

If you have another car and want an FD go for it. I can only imagine though that a TT FD is going to be anything but reliable, especially if you drive it like anyone with a TT FD would...

You should ask yourself why anyone would want to trade straight across for an AP1, when he has 4 times what an ap1 is worth wrapped up in his FD.

Defintely some valid points I was considering it but my s2k is my dd and seeing how how the fd is not that reliable I don't even want to get into that headache plus I don't know squat when it comes down to Mazda motors I've always worked on Honda

While I love RX-7s, I own an S2000, if that tells you anything.

As much as I love RX-7 I would say no if you're not made of money. RX-7s take quite a bit to sort out and the age alone makes it unattractive for maintenance reasons.

Rx7 are badass car man, the olny thing about it though is why in the world he would trade straight across.

Are you a good mechanic? Do you enjoy working on cars? Do you have a slush fund for repairs? Do you have another car for a DD? If you answered yes to all those questions, go for it!

I wouldn't own an RX-7 without an LSx swap.
