Vtec lights?

Default Vtec lights?
I have a few friends with Honda's and they install these LED lights in there car. They light up when they are in Vtec. I don't know how they hooked them up, and don't care. They all think it's the greatest thing in the world. Am I crazy? I own a GSR Integra and have no desire for one of these. Please, I wanna hear your comments...
