The Wait
Recently I decided to look into the S2000 as my next car unfortunately I am about $5000 under the amount needed for a 2004 or 2002 ..I would like the tamer engine...The best part is the amount of garage queens 2 yrs old or more with less than 6000 miles on them..what gives folks not driving these racers...I bought my last cars with 69000,55000,58000,168000,153000 an Audi,Acura,Miata,Volvo(sold at 380000) and a 81 Honda respectively...I won't know what to do with a car under 25000...since i drive that many miles per year i could keep it for 5 or six years and would just be getting broken in...i just hate the wait
I'm not understanding your post
are you saying you need just $5K to buy a S2000? Ever hear of a car loan? If you hate to wait you don't have to wait.
If you say you don't take car loans than you must hate spending money more than waiting.
Other thing you say: you drive 25K/year, but then you say: it'd take you 5-6 years just to break the S2000 in. I guess that's supposed to be funny but your garage queen will already be broken in. It doesn't take 100K miles to break a car in more like 2K miles (if that).
You say you won't know what to do with a car with under 25K miles. Huh? you drive it just like any other car. having less miles does not make a car any harder to understand.
Sorry I guess I'm not getting the humor (tho I did see the
that is a cue you are trying to bu funny)

Gee.. Rai I owe 24 months more on the present car and then I could afford a loan of 20000 to 25000 which might buy me a S2000 @$20000 to $25000...the good part for me is the low miles some of weekend drivers do may allow me to buy a car around 25000 miles...when I get through with the audi I'll have maybe 180000 miles on it ...if I drive the S2000 6 yrs starting at 25K (6X25=125) I'd only have 150000...as you can see by the prior post I started driving a lot of cars at that mileage..hanks for your interest I'm just thinking out loud while I wait
