What car would you sell the S for?

why do so many S2k owners want to go to c6? it's a totally different car. big displacement, less revs, not nimble steering (even c6 owners say so)? do you just have so many wide open roads with no cops that you can use all that power on? or is it that you want a cushy american ride?

There's two sides to the question, what would be realistic and what would be later on when retired/wish full thinking.
Realistic: C6 Z06, Lexus IS-F, M3, NSX....maybe an Exige
Wish full: R8, Gallardo Superleggera, Challenge Stradale...ZR1.

driven the new z06 at over 100 mph. it's not a bad car. but the seat is like a couch, gearbox improved but not nearly like ours, poor steering ratio, massive power that can never be used, large cost with not a lot of return on investment unless your being paid to go around the nurburgring. my favorite feature, however, was the heads up display.

The S is no better for investment...no car is sans a uber rare model that never gets driven, stored for 40 years in plastic, etc.
I've owned 3 S2000's, driven most sports cars that are available on the market.... and of all for the money, the Z looks soo damn tempting.
It's more personal preference at the end of the day. I love my S but would take the Z 100 fold over most things on the market right now.

My friends keep asking me with the S what I plan on trading it in for.
Quite honestly, I have more fun driving this car than any other car I've ever been behind the wheel of. It does everything that I really like, and every year when I pull it out of storage, I fall in love with it all over again. I just don't see myself selling this car anytime soon.
If push came to shove, I suppose I'd consider replacing it with an Elise S, or if I could somehow afford it, a GT-R.
