[QUOTE=frans2k,Jan 26 2006, 09:13 AM] Again he wasn't talking about 1/4 mile crap! He was talking about carving up canyon roads. He already said that he had a lot more experience than the other guys

[QUOTE=ruexp67,Jan 26 2006, 09:01 AM] Well, realistically it's closer to $3k for all that, and that's if you install it all yourself.

keep in mind a sc is 300hp PEAK. you wont match the LS7's super flat torque curve. Bottom line: supercharged or not, the vette will still pull on u pretty hard in the straights.

idiot... An s2k putting down 300 rwhp will take a c5 vette in a straight line....
LS7 buddy, 440 at the wheels stock, completely different animal. its like comparing the S2K to a gallardo.

yap that is exactly what i am going to do (driving school, but not a new car. I S ).

Not sure how accurate the 1/4 mile graph is, but it proves a good point that c6 will always out run a SCed s2000 in a straight line even if the driver is not used to c6 compared to s2000 (which is similar to my situation).

So... what is a good performance driving school? I checked out few websites, but not much info...

Hey smartass, reread my post. In black a 2001 S2000 Comptech SC 7# boost just over 300whp. In red a 2005 C6Corvette bone stock C6 12.8 113 mph ......SC S2000 13.4 107. Both cars on street tires on a concrete section of road that was used for both tests.
