Anyone here driven an EVO8 in the snow. Are they any good or a dead loss ? Also do they come with all season tyres or do you have to use chains in winter conditions ? Thinking about getting one as daily driver that in can use to go up to the Ski resorts at weekends.

if youre going to use it in the snow, get snow tires and you'll have yourself a pretty mean snowmobile.

Evo's come with summer tires. Just like my old S4, I would have to get chains or snow/all-season tires before driving it in the snow. AWD w/ summer tires have no traction in the snow.

Not sure about Evo owners, but it was common for S4 owners to have a spare set of wheels (rims already mounted with tires) for the winter.

Same thing goes for Evo owners. Most of us used the stock wheels for winter tire mounting and then some good aftermarket wheels for summer. When I lived in VA, I used Yokohama AVS Winters on the stockers and run Toyo T-1S on my BBS the rest of the time.

Here in Cali, most guys use stock for the street and then have a super-light set for the track.

To answer your question, with GOOD snow tires (Yoko AVS Winter, Blizzaks, Dunlops, etc.), the Evo is a monster in the snow. I was driving fine while even some SUVs got stuck.
