WOA. 60k for comptech car.... ill retract my statement. never thought it would be that much, thanks for the correction but i know for sure amuse and j's car still costs more. if i can find the info...
Well, its their car! I'm sure if they want to show off a car, they'd load it with all the goodies they make. Look at the Spoon Sports S2000. Do you think it really needs that $250 grounding wire?

Umm, the majority of the Comptech catalog is based on building a Supercharged street car with broad appeal. I think for my driving skills an extra 100whp is a bit much. But I do want to make the car faster. But I like a different kind of fast. An all around fast. 2-3 people have made stupid remarks about the Comptech car being faster or should be faster because it has an extra 100whp. If you said this or feel this, you're an idiot. I'd take a 220-250whp car that weighs 2100-2500lbs (like an Amuse, ASM, or J's Racing car) over a 300whp car weighing in at 2900lbs.

Don't get me wrong, I hate the JDM poser Race part wearing show cars almost as much as I hate HP hungry ricer fanboi's.

Proof?
Comptech dual SS exhaust vs. Amuse R1000 or J's 70RR
Comptech headers gains vs. the J's Racing's headers gains
Functional aerodynamic benefit of the Comptech side skirts vs. full J's racing body kit
Comptech Coil/Sleeve Coilover kit vs. ASM Sachs suspension kit
I agree on your first statement, but when you list part vs parts, thats far from a fair comparo. For one we all know that most of the japanese companies parts stem from their race cars that they have compete in series etc. While comptech parts aren't fully developed race parts per se, they are more along the lines of street/semi-race if race at all. You also have to consider that Comptech develops their parts for DOT approval and CARB standards(NOT INCLUDING THE SC) where any JDM company can give a flying fuc if they meet our emissions. I'm more than certain that comptech can develope a 70mm exh and a more aggressive header but its far from where they are as a Company or wanna go.

BTW i hate them show queens too
