I was gonna say...

The RX-7 was a really expensive car new. It was really cool, but it was really expensive. And consequently rare.

A clean, well-maintained example today is going to command a high premium and rightfully so. I'd do it given the right opportunity, but I wouldn't try to suggest it was anything but a purely emotional decision that not everyone would make.

Mazda needs to make a new RX-7.

My favorite car of all time will always be the 2002 RX-7 Spirit R Type A. I saw that on a import site for sale, it still even had the shrink wrap in the interior, but someone bought it. It was I believe 20k+.

But I wouldn't trade in my S for a 93-95 FD. I thought about getting an FD before the S2K. However the S2K makes me feel like I'm in a race car, something the RX-7 wouldn't with its interior stylings.

Don't trade your AP2 for it. Just buy it.... $10,000 is not that much money. Loans are cool as long as you can pay them back.

Buy a sportbike, almost nothing on 4 wheels can match a sportbike for fun and excitement and they are CHEAP. No 17 year old Mazda can come close.

I don't know whether you're being serious or just kidding.

You'd be dumb to try to daily drive a Rx7.

Basically same horsepower, same curb weight, same good stiff chassis, but one is 10x more reliable and doesn't need turbos to make power.

Plus the S2000 is a roadster.

I had more problems with my last s2000 than I did with my current rx7 (zero issues) and my past rx7 (0 issues).

Just stop....please.
