Forgot to mention, we had a Fester as a courtesy car 12 months ago for a week. 1.4, 56 plate I think so in theory should be "better" than the preevious model.

In short it was awful. Certainly not a car I would want to > 10 mile journey in.

I had one of these in spain for a week and thought it was a nice little nippy car Ok its not going to be as comfortable as a barge but then you wont be filling it up half as much .

you could have had my 54000 mile, w plate clio 1.4 for less than 2k. in over 7 years ownership never had any problems bar 1 that cost

I suspect your Fester driving positives stems from the lack of relativity.

Compare the Mondeo and Fester back to back.

You will hate the Fester pile of shat.

Bought an immaculate mondeo 2 litre injection ghia, elec windows, elec sunroof. elec mirrors,central locking, power steering, air con, plush inside, massive boot, 5 speed manual, cd player, new windscreen, good tyres 9 months MOT , 3 month tax, drives great

Lady boy blue

wanted 995 quid I pad 825 quid

Mine's a bit newer than yours (99), but apart from some aircon issues, I've not had any bother with it at all.

The condenser is badly sited and can pick up damage quite easily.

Mines had a new one and new seals and the aircon works a treat now. Cost me about
