the Z4 is a quandry for me.. (badge aside ) the 3.0l is quick, the M and Alpina ones are fast but the look from the front end is a marmite look.. makes the car look chubby imo.. and i'm no chubby chaser

but the side view that middlers has posted is nice

oh and i don't like the roll hoops.

My slant on this is that you'll meet a to$$er driving most types of car if you cross enough of them.
I agree.

I was with my 3 girlfriends over the weekend in a mini, licking icecream.

We happened upon this black S......

Back to 330Ci's. No big deal. One tried it on at traffic-lights when I had the 'teg. He had his 'laydee' in the car, Becs was in the passenger seat next to me. He still lost. I got told off afterwards, but it was worth it for the humiliation he got by this ostentatious little Jap coupe!

Heh, another German car, another piece of arrogance (just to prove it's not just BMWs)...

An Audi A4 2.0T saloon this morning was racing me on the A4174, when I wasn't interested in driving fast as it was pissing it down. He just did not want me to come past, but if he thinks an S2000 can't beat an Audi A4 he's living in Cloud Cuckoo Land.

bmw's and audi's appeal to the same market i suppose to an extent?

german cars are hugely unpopular in canada apparently, they have a bad reliability record and in the winter there that can mean death.. that includes vw.

you think a 2.0T is being deluded, the number of those stinky little A3 tdi's which try to race off away from me in a puff of smoke, their turbo's whistling their swollox off.. but then we're back to the tdi delusion debate and in gear accellaration times ..

Why is it that anyone who has a race with an S2000 is instantly a deluded, arrogant asshole?

You drive a great car, but there's some kind of superiority complex with S2000 drivers, apparently anyone driving anything else is an asshole for not knowing what a great car the S is. It's a phenomenon I've not seen on any other OC forums.

I've had the odd mini traffic light GP against cars I am never going to beat, sometimes it's just fun a good excuse to hear someone rag a nice car in front of you. Thumbs up, nice car mate...

Apparently doing this with an S makes you an instant asshole :S Ever thought it might be a compliment?

no.. i'd argue my 330 was an a$$hole, he tried 3 times and got hammered each time.. learn from your mistakes? it's not a fast car. if he was trying the 1st time for fun he'd have left it at that.. and hammering it through traffic to prove something to his small genitals is not clever either.

all tdi drivers are deluded by torque. their cars are slow but they believe otherwise.. an audi tdi does 0-60 in between 9 and 10s.. far from quick. it's not even competition for an mx5 ffs.. so yes.. deluded c0ckknocker

the A4 is about 7.5s i think..
