BMW M2
Am I old?
Am I becoming staid?
Am I out-of-touch?
I have zero interest in the M2, M4, Golf R, Civic Type-R, etc., etc., etc..
The only cars that hold any interest for me now are...

The performance on-tap from contemporary vehicles is unusable in the real world. And they all look hideous.

It'll certainly be interesting to compare the monthly costs of these cars e.g. is a £50k M2 40% per month more than a £30k CTR.

Still got that Frank Cannon-mobile?
Alas the MKIV Continental went to someone in Nottingham 2013. As with all my past cars, I regret selling it...
Nottm_S2 - I think a nice '71 - '73 Mach 1 would be just about usable as a daily! MPG would be poor, but it would be depreciation proof if looked after, and maintenance would peanuts; overall it would probably cost less to run over 3 years than some nasty modern econobox.

haha, it would be a laugh at least. My M has depreciated pretty slowly according to autotrader, about £8k in 3 and a bit years but i bet it's an ecobox vs that with it's lofty 17mpg in traffic
i've never had a proper muscle car as the whole LHD thing puts me off a lot
the Transformers car is amusingly styled
No vauxhall badge
If you didnt give a shit about ring times and mpg you'd choose one of these daftisms over a fwd washing machine with a blower right? I was tooling about with mine this morning and slalomed off the lights with the M nanny half on.. Cue hilarious swishing this way and that...
To me.. Ahem

If it's like the M4 it will be pretty well specced as standard. If you can restrain yourself from the carbon tat, silly wheels etc., the only option needed will be the auto box if you are so inclined. Which, after the dust has settled from the launch means I reckon you'll be able to get one for £40k with discount.
