Paddle shift gearbox?
Carbon ceramic brakes?
The use of carbon fibre as a body material?

The brake materials for an F1 disc and a road car disc are completely different.
Carbon Fibre is, again, an aircraft industry trick.
KERS is a posh name for the hybrid trickery Honda/Toyota have had for years.

Lots of technologies have their roots elsewhere but are developed by F1 into applications that are then converted for road use.
F1 and motorsport provides the conduit into the road car.

Semi Auto box has been surpassed by twin clutch now.
I mean i'd be amazed if 1% of technology/development of running an F1 team was put into road cars

It's a shame, in there second year, the team looked strong in the first half of the season. BMW then wrongly decided to look toward year 3 and cocked it up big sytle
BMW did a lot better than Honda, but in a much shorter time frame. Pity they've gone imo

The thing is does anyone actually believe F1 is beneficial to the sale of Road cars?

Ferrari are probably the only manufacturer that do benefit because their products are sports cars. Whereas BMW make repmobiles; Mercedes make luxury cars for rich people; Toyota and Honda make old people cars, and the least said about Renault cars the better. I don't know why any of those manufacturers though they'd get some benefit from their involvement in F1.

I'll remind you of your post
That's nowhere near 1%!
Of course, as Dembo says, it's all marketing (bar Ferrari I suppose).
