Yeah yeah, fewer on the road.
Sorry I'd been having an "on the road" price discussion with somebody else ....... in which case you have a good point there are far fewer Caymans/men on the road. We have at least 30 987s in our work car park but only 4 or 5 Caymans.

Kind of glad I didn't buy a Cayman.
I doubt the residuals will hold up, whilst I hope they do.

No idea.

I just can't understand how someone can write off a Boxster S - a very good looking car which has won plaudits the world over for it's fantastic handling, and driving experience, and now has a cracking 295bhp engine as "just a porsche", when they themselves drive a car which can just as easily be written off as "just a f**king Honda" as someone did the other day.

I think the Boxster is a tremendous car, I drove one up in the highlands and good times were had.

I DO have some misgivings about the badge though. It does seem to attract "the wrong sort" some of the time. I do quite like the discretion of the Honda

I think Lotus's are ok cos they are British (ish)

I like Jags and some people hate that badge
I like Astons and some people have a problem with them

I don't like Volkswagons or Audis as the seem to attract a certain "type" as well.

Over and above the petrolheads that buy them cos they are good cars if you know what I mean,

I lot of city boys or wanker IT contractors kicking about in them, with no clue about what they are sitting in...

Hmmm, I'm not a badge snob (hence the Honda! ) but I would be put out if my car was one of 30 in the car park. Is it a very, very big car park or just used by very rich people?

It seems to be the people that know f**k all about cars that buy Boxsters.

They seem to like leaving there keyrings lying around on their desks and they also like telling people that they drive a Porsche
