Coils should have been changed already - either cos they went, or they were done during a service (when Audi eventually got spare parts!!)
Most likely to go on a cold morning when there's a weird jerk, the engine mgmt light comes on, and the car feels like it's running on diesel (depends how many go as to how bad it feels) - one of mine went and it felt a bit bad, another morning 2 went and it felt awful !
Dealers were also pretty crappy; one caused a massive oil leak in Kitty
