I reckon that A5 will be more £ to run than your old E90 mate

They are a good GT type car though

The 4WD is deinite bonus because I'm self employed.

The more a car costs to run, the better it will be. It's the man formula.

There's a fruity exhaust you could "upgrade" to on the A5 3.0 tdi too, sounds awesome for it's engine.

Funny you should say that - neighbour has an A7 and it's the only one I think that really works, in a sort of SD1 3500 Vitesse with a hint of Aston sort of way. Everything else looks a bit dumpy and like a fat kid throwing a tantrum.

A7's are newer perhaps - maybe Aldi are reaching out to the sandal wearing intellects with their design hues. It's a slippery slope, eventually you'll be assimilated - resistance is futile!

A5 has some fatty angles, muscular ones also. Its got some presence about it, even though its a bit obvious Audi flavour.

OP - let us know how you get one, some tidy ones at 9's albeit 100k'ers. You might want to aim for at least 11k to start with, to also add A7's are 15-17k which still makes them a little expensive in my book (these examples also show 100k). Larger wafters like the 7 series are impossible to beat for value for money in terms of quality package overall, they look superb in black wearing 20's. But you'll sacrifice mpg wearing 2 tonnes everyday, even in the 3 litre D.

Audi S4, TDI 2006+ would fit that bill...Although the idea of the TDi Phaeton is genius! Check out S-Class - for true wafting!
