Lovely weekend just gone - sprint at Castle Combe on Sat and some spectating at Prescott on Sunday.

Here's two videos from the sprint. The sprint is 3/4 of a lap (missing the last turn and kink before pit entrance.

This is the first timed run. Not the best run as I got a big slide out of the first chicane (too rough with the change of direction) and got wide on the second chicane. However it was my best of the two runs and faster than my best run of last year by about 1.4 secs so pretty happy with that. Still got 3rd in class beaten by the same double driven turbo'd Puma as last year. (but by a smaller margin this time ;-) ).

This is the second timed run, started off much better.....until the first corner! Bit of a slide... from trail braking when I shouldn't have...and followed up by a shift into 5th instead of 3rd. That killed the lap so I decided to not care about trying to be so smooth. Good speed through last chicane.

Was speaking to a fella last week called Mark who was in your class on saturday in a civic type R . He was telling me the Puma is quite a serious piece of kit.

 

Yeah, had a good chat with Mark, nice bloke. The Puma is a v nicely put together car and well driven by both the drivers.
