EK9K. Some S2Kers have ditched the snail, because they found it destroys the driving experience.

You'd need to see how you get on with a well set-up NA first.

I suspect you may not like it.

Disagree
That was the reason why I bought my s2000,they have so much potential n/a or forced induction,a standard powered s wouldn't have been enough for me,but then I have been driving around in boosted cars since I was 18

What are your thoughts on the Honda civic ek9, as I’m looking at PXing mine for a s2k but not sure if I will miss the handling of the ek9 .
I know the ek9 will hold its value better in the long run but I really want a s2k on boost if not I can see myself doing a k20 swap on the ek9.
K20 in the EK9 imo.

why do you say that ? ever since I put my mg zr turbo on Richards rolling road at TTS I said to my self I want a s2k on boost after seeing a few in his work shop geting done. plus as im local wont need to pay for postage when I buy the supercharger kit lol
There's only been a couple of what I'd classify as successful boosted S2000's, and they've all gone with pretty moderate gains. Most of the bigger ones have gone pop or they've dialed it back because it just wasn't right.

Buying one just to boost misses the point of the S2000. It's not how fast you get there, but how much you enjoy the ride.

I could be wrong, but do a search and read about all the boost threads and judge for yourself.

I have to say, that EK9 is absolutely gorgeous. I had an EK chassis civic for my first car, (tried to make it look like an EK9 ) but that is pretty much perfection in EK9 terms for me anyway! Are those Bride seats? If so, where did you get them from? Sorry for the thread hi-jack.

Why would you want massive brakes?

And they'll be a lot of extra heat to get rid of from arriving at each corner at a far greater speed

Fantastic EK9 by the way! You've got a tough decision to make
