I noticed a night and day improvement on track days myself. Going super charged next week I'm very glad I've got them on the car. Even if staying na I'd do them again personally.

Not sure why some people are against them on here. For normal road use I found the normal setup fine, but the op is talking about tracking a supercharged s2k. I think its wise planning on his part, certainly not rice.

PS with careful planning on wheels you can still keep the correct offset. I'm running et50 offset up front, pf01s.
It's fine if you know what you want and why you want to do it.

But you have to know what you're starting off with and throwing money at it is usually a CWOT without driver training, practice, etc first.

Cart before horse, & all that.

Before I had my S I had a stripped EG with a B18CR.

I miss that car as you could just throw abuse at it.

I had stripped EG with a H22A (prior to that it was a D16).

Utter hooligans. FAR more forgiving than the S2K - to the point where I really miss it and would love another EG.

Would I swap the S2K for one, though? Not a chance.
That's it, in a nutsert.

My mate has a white one circa 200BHP and its brill I really like it. Still looks nice too, handles amazingly and goes well, the amount of higher power cars it can leave on 1/4 miles is amazing for what it is.

However the brakes standard are good but not brilliant, there's nothing under 5000k rpm worse than the S in that respect, they look a *little* dated but stood up to the test of time well but i would only have one if i wanted a small car when you put them side by side there's the S wins, and they are slower when you get up to *high* speeds vs S but not far behind.

Though however much i like them i can think of far more as capable, as fun and quicker similar cars and probably cheaper.

The shape cannot be that dated - Audi has just plagiarised it for the second time round!

For 5k you could easily convert it for racing in the VTEC series

R-Motion might have a K20 for sale I think.

The ek9 is all ready a good spec with a rollcage, bucket seats and coilovers etc etc just that a k20 swap cost bucks prob about the same price as a supercharge kit from TTS. I just like the idear of the s2k being my daily drive as the ek9 is not a very good one with the mods it has ha.

The only other car I was looking at was a dc5 what do you guys think of them ? just not much power wise mods to go with on them, engine bay is tight to work on etc
