I had one and it's got a nice engine (K20 is nicer than the F20) but not a patch on the DC2 for handling. I didn't like it.

If you bought an S2000, would you just not end up with the same dillem when you start to put seats / cage / harness in it?

Mods on the S2000 also cost a huge amount more than most other Hondas too.

Just be clear on why you are thinking of changing. While the S2000 is a weapon on track even as standard, I don't think you will enjoy it as much as your current Civic without a bit of work.

why do you say the k20 is a better engine over the f20 ? I thought the k20 was ivtec and the f20 was a harder cross over with just vtec?

if I do get a s2k I wont go that mad with a cage and bucket seats I think, more a fast daily im thinking now after what you guys are saying, just do a few track days a year in it then

K20 is a budget F20C, don't let anyone tell you differently.

That's not to say it's a bad engine of course!

K20 is a smoother, more torqey, more tunable engine. I just think it's a better package with IVTEC.

Same power as an F20 in the real world too (don't believe anyone who says they get a genuine 237bhp from it)

Note nowhere have I said the F20 is a bad engine before anyone has a fit

Basically, the iVTEC makes a K more tuneable than an F, according the the tuners...
