Its just essentially an elise with extra's, and creature comforts though???
No, that was the hideous and unloved Europa.

The Evora is an all new car. I'll be due to change my car around the time when the supercharged one hits the street. I want one, but I am tiring a bit of clown cars so it might not be in the shade of yellow I was thinking of.

Credit Crunch White does it no favours, showing up the ugly scoops in the bonnet and the bumps in the roof. It'll look really good in a dark colour I think.

It's good that Lotus exists so I hope it succeeds.

They should probably charge more for it as it'll encourage those who know nothing about cars to buy it

[QUOTE=MarkB,Feb 25 2009, 09:20 AM] As Jim says, what is there to compete at that price?

I guess the M3 could probably be considered "competition" too...

[QUOTE=eSeM,Feb 25 2009, 01:48 AM] I don't see the Cayman S as its competition.

This car is aimed directly at people like me who would like a fun car but who also has a young family. You often see people putting their S up for sale as soon as they have a kid on the way

I have often thought about buying a 911 just so that I can take both kids out with me and I see this as the main competition to the Evora. A new Evora for
