I had the great pleasure of meeting CB yesterday morning for a very early and enjoyable drive across country from Bishop’s Stortford to Rickmansworth prior to the Ricky Run. Definitely worth getting up early for

We had a great run on lovely winding roads free of cars although some of the surfaces were awful and I was concerned for him about stone chips on his beautiful new paint work.

I think he has made a fantastic colour choice, the car really is stunning and much larger than I had remembered which gives it amazing presence on the road. I noticed a jogger double take as he went by.

Although my photography leaves a lot to be desired and of course there is not much light, I thought I’d share a couple of pics of the Evora.

Nice plate btw CB

with Saz, it certainly seems wider than I remember at the test drive.

Nice colour, although I think I prefer it in white

It's a lovely car, and Richard a very nice chap

Good to meet up too and thanks for turning around MB and for turning up early AE!

It is definately a wide car - more especially around the hips - that sais am getting used to it and throwing it around a lot more as I get used to it - parking and driving in narrow streets / heavy traffic is the biggest challenge but try to avoid that

am planning a "proper" valet soon and will post pics and a "living with" review then - suffice to say that pretty much everything has been picked up by people who have already test driven, that said it's still a really great drive!

Been a pleasure to meet some other members over the last few days - what a great bunch!
