Took an Evora for a test drive last week and have to say that I was massively impressed. Get over the power figures, it is a very easy car to drive fast and compared to my S (supercharged 330HP) felt very quick and handled like a dream. I am sorely tempted and may even take the plunge in advance of the SC and convertibles being released, which from most sources look to be 18 to 24 months away yet....

Good man.

I am also tempted.

Lotus will *possibly* do an SC conversion for the Evora if need be. They do one for the N/A Exige, but it's pricey...

sold! never been afraid of a conversion especially if from the factory. Will see how the year end looks financially and perhaps take the plunge - expect to see mine in "for sale" section soon!

I should imagine it feels very similar indeed, albeit with a slightly blander Toyota lump.

It's just a pity it's so damnably BIG.
