Just install a tracelogic unit. Personal experience btw.
Bit late.

The Elise is perfect in those conditions, but I can't erase the memory from the old car.

Mark, sorry to be a pedant, but in future years I can imagine searching for "Exige" in thread titles and not finding your thread due to the typo....

PL,

I've only just spotted that myself! How bizarre.

Decided to get the gear tunnel coated in leather by Lotus

Looks nice, and smells good too

And a new small front plate from Fancy Plates.

With the extra 30 plus bhp I bolted on, the car is just ridiculous. I can't describe how fast it is around and out of bends, but I really fear for my license.

I let my dad go out in it the other day (ex bike racer) and he was just laughing. We stopped at some lights and he was giving some thumbs up to 2 plads in a 306 gti thing. Next thing I knew and he'd launched it through a few gears and we were doing 100 - the GTi was just gone - I mean nowhere to be seen My dad is 60 btw

The 240R version has a recorded 0-60 in 3.9 and 100 in 9.8 so mine is up there with those sort of figures, and I prob have 250-260 bhp.

Simply awesome machine.

The day I bought mine I pulled up with my mate in the passenger seat beside the only Caterham 7 I'd ever seen till that point. The lights turned green and it was duly dispatched and my mate was in hysterics.

I also left a load of carthieves in a stolen Saab for dead the other day off the lights. I think they thought they'd stolen a fast car until they saw quite how devastatingly I left them behind.

I love my car.

You must.

I get excited thinking about even going out for a blast, which was my whole aim in replacing the S.

It's is all I actually seem to use it for - waste those fossil fuels!
