10 place drop on the grid in the next race for them both
Oh FFS!!

The Ferrari Investigation Authority are back to their old tricks again . Looked like a genuine mistake to me. They are racing drivers and they just want to get back out of the pit lane and get racing again. If the FIA didn't keep creating all these stupid little rules we wouldn't have half the problems we do.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Fred Alonso doesn't look like a former World Champion. He's not got the mental strength, and was lucky to get into that Renault when he did.

Nice to see a few of you watching the TT
There was some road racing from Ireland a couple of weeks back which was on the same level of insanity as that of the TT.

Bad make by Lewis, but makes for an interesting championship - I cant remember the last time 3 teams were competitive!!!

McLaren will struggle at the next 2 races....especially as Lewis takes a 10 place drop on the grid in France.

PS the sidecar passengers are beyond insane.
YOu don't know the half of it.

A friend of a friend crashed at a race in Scarborough last year, got many serious injuries, and their sidecar passenger died. He's at the TT this year with a new passenger.

Maverick and Gosse-esque.

I know I couldn't do that.

And so LH should get a penalty.

'It's not exactly a racing incident' - No shit sherlock
just a version of the same cobblers people trot out when they run into the back of someone at a roundabout

it's the weasel words used by people in F1 that really grate with me

how difficult is it to say

"I made a silly mistake. Totally my fault. I'm sorry. End of."

What a race, what a result, and a new points leader. That's going to give Kimi a headache. There are 4 guys up there now. It's looking great, but I really do want to see the points go back to 10,6,5,4,3,2,1 to reward a winner.

Also (and I can't believe I'm typing this), overtake of the year by Massa today on 2 cars at once. He's really come on this year, and I'd rate this possibly his best drive to date.

Had this conversation yesterday - it's probably that they don't want to admit fault until the officials state that they are at fault in case there are any financial / point / rule complications or penalties afterwards.

I think any person watching knows that the Stevenage muppet missed a perfectly clear red light that 2 other cars had spotted and stopped for.

I think lewis is a little obsessed with being like Senna. I think the guy has studied him and is deliberatley doing things that are in character with what senna did. He made reference to Senna in monaco and for a second I thought he was going to quote Sennas out of body experience in monaco 20 years earlier.
I really like Hamilton and he is a fantastic driver but it just seems to me that a little bling is comming into his life, I just hope he retains some of his honesty and integrity as in Canada I thought his response to the crash was pretty crappy and smacked of Hamilton doing a shit senna impression. The difference being that Senna actually beleived what he said in his own mind where Hamilton appears to be asking himself what the great man would of done and said in the same situation. Fantastic drive up to the crash and qualifying he was awesome.
