quote from massa.

"I was strong enough to catch and pass [Raikkonen] and that was the best part of the race for me - but it was not enough."

Most boring race this year.
Agreed. The track is to blame really, it really doesn't provide good entertainment. Really wished it had rained, would have made an entertaining race.

To be fair I think it's either been wet or greasy every year there so it hasn't been so much of a factor, but it's such a mickey mouse track that a dry race ruins it.

Agreed on the Massa comment, both drivers were particularly awkward about it. All they had to say was that Raikkonen was looking out for his team-mate and made the decision himself. But Kimi wasn't playing ball.

Interesting that it was a track that suited harder tyres, hence the Maclaren going well on the harder tyres whilst the Ferraris couldn't keep up on either the soft or the hard.

Anyone know what Brazil is like with respect to tyres?

Not sure on the exact tyre choice, although it's traditionally really low grip at the start of the weekend as I think it only gets used once a year.

By Sunday though it's usually 'rubbered' in a bit so a lot more grip.

Key thing about Iterlagos is the power required from down the hill all the way through the start finish straight to the first corner. You need really good mechanical traction out of the corner, then low drag as the speeds build up.

Should favour Ferrari on the drag part, but Mclaren out of the corner.

I did suspect this was why Fisi spent the day holding up the Ferrari's - http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/71627
