but nobody else was slotted into the best car on the grid in their debut season
and the second best car in their second!
if you were looking for real talent being demonstrated with inferior machinery, I woudl nominate Rosberg
we know that the machinery is THE most important factor in winning, and therefore hamilton's (undoubted) talent has only been amplified
[QUOTE=ianl,May 25 2008, 09:21 PM] What...on drugs?
I like Jenson a lot - he is a decent bloke (I base this largely on him once taking time to be chat to my kids when just an autograph would have been more than enough to make their day)

[QUOTE=gaddafi,May 25 2008, 01:31 PM] I am talking about track cyclists, not road racers
AFAIK there has only been one suspect test amongst the track people, and to imply any more wrongdoing is quite a slur on their considerable achievements

It would be amazing if there wasn't some recreational drug use amoungst F1 drivers - put young men with loads of money together and it is almost inevitable.
However, my limited knowledge of coke and its effects as a stimulant (v. short term) suggests this wouldn't by terribly helpful in enhancing a drivers performance in a race.

I'm not sure anyone would particularly want to be charlied during a race, although perhaps for the 1st lap...

I've always been a bit disapointed with Rosberg; I expected more from him. If I was to pick one driver who's really shining at the moment it's Kubica.
