If you're gonna do the coffee table thing, its got to have the red VTEC cam cover, so top end or full engine. Otherwise, split in half it might look like its come out of any old 4 pot, like a Cortina
Or again, otherwise.. a V8 / V12 aka Top gear table looks great

How about - and you would have to mount the block correctly - fitting the glass between block and head ? Yeah so the piston heads would be down but ... Think I'd rather that in my living room

Mind you.. with all the used optics I have about I could top off the cylinder heads no worries.. Less dusting - for all those freaks concerned about that kind of thing!

If you did that, you'd not see the pistons anyway and you'd have the head taking up table space...

You would if you looked from a correct angle.. and the head taking up the space is half the idea!

Didn't say it was a GOOD idea

(That was a tongue firmly in cheek comment and was in no way intended to be serious)

we've looked at V8 tables on a few occasions - we'll do it at some point - although her mum would go spare when she eventually came round and saw it...

Stu c on here made his own - it's on his blog.

That V12 looks lovely.

Flat 6 is obviously the way to go

One for soulcrew. Connect a battery and you could start it up to stir the coffee.
