Did they get where they are today by making cars financed by the profits from the tat, or do people buy the tat because of the reputation of the cars they build today?
Discuss with referance to any number of car makers who have gone or who are going through a very lean period and who, coincidentally, do not have concession stores at, for example Newport Pagnell Services, Norwich train station, Blackpool promenade.....
