Looks like either the main DC into the town from TwoBall Lonnen or the exit out of the town towards Jesmond?

It took me three and a half hours for my usual one-and-a-bit journey home... Alas it took Mrs P five and a half hours to get home this evening (tonight!) - a mere 22 miles!

Total chaos in Geordie Land as Plod were pretty much nowhere to be seen in respect of closing roads and setting up diversions around some massive floods.

The syke in our neighbour's garden sounds like Niagara Falls and her gravel drive is now in the adjacent ford! That's the nearby river crossing and not a Dagenham product BTW.

Much TV chatter about weather systems being the cause but being a conspiracy theorist ,I think it's the work of dark forces with scalar weapons...
