who would just drive into that? assuming they did i guess.
and then who mwould follow them and go for the overtake?
the road in front of my house gets it bad but we're a few metres higher so pretty safe. the manhole just down from us pops out though and people just drive over it.. madness. should be bolted in i think.

@westys2k: almost too hard to believe!
On Thursday I drove from here to Newhaven to look at some stone (don't ask). The day was sunny fluffy clouds dry and the A515 up from the A50 to Ashbourne then beyond towards Buxton was a fabulous drive - twisty, good surface, views ahead, the M3 just munched everything. Previously I had a top drive past Stamford, Rutland Water then Melton, Asfordby and Kegworth.Came back Friday and it was fight your way round the 'flood, road closed' diversions and the M1 south from Alfreton to Kegworth was scary as hell. Though I consoled myself with the thought of how seriously scared I would have been in the S2000
TBH the M3 is very sure footed and I was mostly concerned about others' behaviour, not being big headed or anything
@Nottm_S2: next time Jason. Will be in touch.
edit: I followed a gorgeous Ferrari 458 coupe from Bakewell through Matlock down the A6 and then he turned off at Tansley into an industrial estate, in which was a Ferrari body shop - 350, F355s, all manner of stuff I can't even name. The driver didn't mind when I said I just wanted to look at the front end too
I love the M3 and it is a top tool and such value for money but it felt lumpen alongside all that sexy machinery ...

Ha ha i thought you might have had fun Rog. Truly loony weather, i blame global warming and big gas guzzling v8s.
I've been pondering cars all weekend. I'll have some tax to pay if i do go down the M3 route. Saw a nice 09 335i which was £10k cheaper than an M and might be a good stepping stone for me but i think its nurby/silverstone - a colour on the BMs i cannot id on photos reliably.
The bike is still here, i had a good offer but not had the heart to sell, was pondering taking some time off so bottled the big expenditure on a white one with Stratstone and now its gone, they seem to list £5k cheaper than sytner. It was near ideal spec too so ne the weather has me committed to jan i'm kicking myself. Ah well, life's too short for regrets so i'll keep pondering pistonheads

The pic is on the A515 just outside of Cubley.
The A515 is still Closed just outside of Halmark Tractors, apparently its like a swamp still.
All the diverted traffic is going past my house, its like living on a main road again (noisy).
It always rains buckets if I go anywhere near Ashbourne, I remember a walking weekend Mickleover - Ashbourne and back (and all pubs in-between) when it rained almost all of the time. Thank God for Timothy Taylors and Marstons Pedigree ...
