The talk is of a minimum 2, probably 3 pit-stops... think Canada last season...

Suspect the first race will be a Red Bull walkover (not sure how much they've been pushing in testing where they were fast and reliable) but Ferrari won't be far behind (at least one of them won't be), not sure on Merc, McLaren will do well to garner a strong points finish

Good News! Karun Chandhok has got a reserve drive with Team Lotus, he is a pretty good driver I think with a lot of promise, it is good that he has been able to keep his foot in the door of the fast slamming door of F1!

And Bernie's thoughts on the season and his predictions. He is standing by his sprinkler system to make a wet race at every track, odd.

Excellent. No doubt he'll be participating in the commentary / analysis as he did last year.

I hope not, i don't want to wade through a huge single thread about lots of races, I prefer having a thread a race so that I can easily find anything in the past etc. If no-one else does then I will create a thread per race and hope people reply to that ... hopefully people will create the threads at the appropriate time ...

Looking forward to this after missing most of last year.

Think the tyre/pit stops could be a good thing, more overtaking to get back in position and the one person crying about it is the one who wears his out really quick.

Think Vettle will walk it, and if button has the car set he could be up there.

True, but the alternative is wading through several threads which inevitably end up discussing the same thing, which then the mods end up merging and confusing everyone. Or as happens most the time, we get one thread every couple of weeks for what turns out to be a boring race with not many replies.

It was just a thought. I don't follow the MotoGP thread, but this is obviously what they're doing there and I guess they cope.

I hope so, still not sure about having Coulthard in the commentary box to be honest, Brundle is great but I can't stand how Coulthard gets so over excited about RBR all the time and his accent annoys me. I fear I will be changing back to 5Live commentary again!

Seems to work ok with the GT5 threads on races, championship and in general?

I really don't care who wins as long as the racing is good enough to keep me awake(I'll be for up for live quali and race), if tyres are only good for 10 laps there may be a lot of pitstops, as for Bernies wet racing laps, he needs to stay off the meds, F1 should be the pinnacle of motorsport, he who has the best ideas and fastest car should win, although mixing the six fastest for the start might help liven it up.
