Nice to read that the stewards see the Button Hamilton incident as just a racing incident. Fingers crossed they see the Button Alonso incident the same way.
The Stewards have reviewed video evidence and heard from the drivers and team representatives
regarding the incident on Lap 38 at Turn 3 between Car 5 (F. Alonso) and Car 4 (J. Button.)
Car 5 was on an out lap having pitted. Car 4 appeared to be firmly established on the inside line prior to
the entry of the corner and drove onto the kerb to avoid Car 5 on the outside.
In view of the conditions and the statements by both drivers and their team representatives, the
Stewards decide that this was a “racing incident” and have taken no further action.

I realize that, but still, we never saw him progress within Formula 1 like pretty much every other driver has to do. He will win future races, but he will never win another championship imo.
http://fia.com/en-GB/mediacentre/f1_...home_page.aspx see under "In-event information"
There's loads of really useful stuff there, lap-by lap laptimes etc, under "timing information".

He had it much harder - was put into a top team alongside a two-time world champion and was just as fast. But this argument is several years old now.

Went straight to a top team without having to work his way up.

It is an old argument, and I STILL dont think Hamilton "had it much harder".
I liked him in 2007, and I did not like Alonso back then. I guess now that Hamilton has been around for awile we have learned his true personality; kind of a douch bag. He's a good racer, but Jenson is a better overall driver.
I like Vettel, he is obviously a very fast talented driver, but I'll reserve judgement on how great he is until I see him win a few from a position other than the front row.
I'll add to the Vettel comments that I think there's a rabbit off with the Red Bull car; it's too good in comparison to the others. It reminds of the 'edge' Toyota had in rallying some time ago - until their flexible intake restrictor was discovered. I suspect similar 'ingenuity' at Red Bull...
