Hamilton deserves everything he gets. Yes he is black, but it never presented any issue until he now tries to use his skin colour as some sort of gangsta credibility statement.

If I were his manager i'd be fuzzy ducking it all off and focusing on the racing.

There is no doubt he has pace, but if things don't go his way, he's gone.

Nice to read that the stewards see the Button Hamilton incident as just a racing incident. Fingers crossed they see the Button Alonso incident the same way.

He wouldn't be human if he wasn't. Nice thing was he didn't bitch anyone off about it and took it on the chin (being a big chin at that)

Any idea why Vettel was booed during the trophy presentation ?

Here's the Button/Alonso Stewards' report:

The Stewards have reviewed video evidence and heard from the drivers and team representatives
regarding the incident on Lap 38 at Turn 3 between Car 5 (F. Alonso) and Car 4 (J. Button.)
Car 5 was on an out lap having pitted. Car 4 appeared to be firmly established on the inside line prior to
the entry of the corner and drove onto the kerb to avoid Car 5 on the outside.
In view of the conditions and the statements by both drivers and their team representatives, the
Stewards decide that this was a “racing incident” and have taken no further action.
Vettel is a racing driver, so has that built-in denial feature, having completely forgotten missing the chicane at least once:

"It was probably the only real mistake I made in the whole race, so at the moment the feelings I have are not very sweet.

"We are all pushing very hard and sometimes we do make mistakes. I have no problem admitting I went a little wide.

"If it had been dry there would have been no problem, but it was wet, outside the dry line and it was very costly.

"In the end I got away with second."

Still, it was very entertaining, and some simply sublime driving skills displayed by the drivers just keep the cars on the track (mostly).

Possibly the Canadian chappie giving the awards, rather than Vettel, according to some sites.

Some people may not like him because he is dominating the races so much?? No idea really but pretty petty if it was directed at him.

What a race...what a race.

We were really hoping MS could have made the podium. I am a bit surprised Button did not get a penalty for the Alonso thing. Hamilton is getting what he deserves for all his talk lately. I still respect Louis, and I can't wait to see the NASCAR trade, but I cannot get myself to like the guy. Went straight to a top team without having to work his way up, throws blame EVERYWERE, has that stupid half beard, and his girlfriend is the "dontcha wish your girlfriend was hot like me" chick.
