What are the odds on Vettel driving off into the distance?

ps. The GP2 race is a cracker.
I would wager (if I were a betting man) he won't win, and that he won't drive off into the distance either.

I can't believe what happened to some of the teams as they left the circuit and all the track invasions.

Awful.

I think that he was on a promise from Pinkham and was in a hurry to get back.

Lol, its illegal because its pay to view television and you are not paying.

Downloading films is also illegal, but you can still do it. Websites don't get shut down very quickly, it takes ages in the courts!
I'd be interested to know which laws I have broken then. From what you are saying I have broken the law.
Mate I don't care, you can do what you like! But it is against the law to watch PTV TV without a subscription, I am not going to waste my own time finding out what law it is because quite frankly, its not my problem.

The chances of you getting caught are next to nil, so I don't think there is any need for me to waste my valuable time on it. Just it is illegal, just as it is illegal to download films, music, and all the other stuff without a copyrighters permission. WGAF.

Some interesting comments from Schumacher on tyres

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/17808768

I'm split on this one. I want to see the drivers going as fast as possible , but since the tyre changes we have seen some cracking racing.

I think they should bring back refuelling like before, but get rid of the rule whereby the cars have to start on the fuel they qualified with. For the race you can put in as much or as little fuel as you like to go the distance, but remember that the more fuel you put in, the more you take out of your tyres so you will have to pit for tyres anyway...but your pit stop will only last 3-4 seconds for tyres, but 10 seconds for fuel and tyres. I think it would really mix it up to see all the differing strategies again.

I would not be sorry to see all the artificial "enhancers" such as high degradation tyres and mandatory pit stops removed.
I think that racing should be decided on the track by men and machines and not by pit crews and strategists back at base.
But then, I am a motor racing luddite.

It's always hard to predict how these things affect the racing, but from my memory when F1 introduced refuelling was when F1 went downhill, as suddenly they were doing the overtaking through the pit stop strategy, something Micheal Schumacher and Ross Brawn seemed to be able to do to perfection. Conversley getting rid of refuelling in 2010, and we've had lots more close and exciting racing.

Maybe limit it to one refuelling stop, or not at all?

I saw the Schumacher interview on the BBC highlights program and his main complaint was that the drivers spend so much time during the race managing things rather than driving.

Mainly tyres, but I guess there is also an element of fuel management also.

He was saying that the tyres are the limiting factor and set the speed of the cars, hence why we are seeing so many cars with similar pace.

I can see how it must frustrate the drivers to have to spend a large part of a GP managing tyres, but as a viewer I think that the racing action has been excellent these past few seasons.
