Yeah, you always do. Poor thread form or similar could leave debris or something in the threads though for subsequent stop though for example. Seemed much smoother last stop though so hopefully all is good

So is Lotus Renault, British or French team? They are made in Britain with a very British brand, but do the remnants of the Renault team remain in the sense that if Rai does Vettel and wins, what will the national anthem be for the team?

Well done Vettel, but I still think Lotus were the team on fire today, what a return by Raikkonen! And good on Grosjean!

Weekend to forget for Mercedes and McLaren, especially when Rosberg gets his penalty.

Good race, I ended up watching it from Raikkenen's POV from the middle laps on ... not the usual snore fest that is the Bahrain GP, not bad really.

Yes loads of action, and despite what David Croft said, probably most of the overtaking wasn't in the DRS zone. A shame Kimi couldn't challenge more for the win, but at least we had a race for the win.

Living quite close to their factory, it always annoyed me when they'd use the French national anthem. I doubt they were very French even when they were Renault; only the engines came from France, as they still do. But even that makes them more French than Red Bull are Austrian.

Ah tell me about it, but then the owner of RBR is Austrian and is where the money comes from, but when the cars are made in Milton Keynes and the RBR team is made up of Brits, it does kinda take the piss! Makes it all very confusing though.

Having now watched a race on "Sky" I'm glad I chose not to line the pockets of that parasite Murdoch.

Good race, which is the last thing I'd thought I'd ever say about Bahrain.

Fantastic drive from Kimi, but a terrible weekend for the McLarens. Button was woefully slow today and needs to up his game if he wants to be champion again. He just doesn't seem to be able to extract any speed if the car isn't set up just so. Hamilton maybe could have got 4th, but was hampered by 3 terrible pit stops.

Cracking season this though.
