Sounds like an amazing qualifiying.

I havent seen it as I'm on the road in the Rockies, but I may try and find a bar later on to try and catch the highlights.

I thought it was a pretty average quali, the only amazing thing was that MS popped it on pole, but given that the Merc is pretty damn quick, especialy in Nico's hands I didn't really find that too incredible either - shame he has to drop 5 places ... hang on, no it is isn't he was a complete idiot in the last race !

The interesting thing is when Mercedes looked so good in China, everybody said it was because of the double-DRS given them a top speed advantage. Yet here they are again fastest at the very place where top speed makes no difference.

I thought Massa might get pole, as he looked so good in FP3 and was fastest in Q2. But it was the other bloke who some like to write off as past it. Part of me would like to see Schumacher win one more race, and then retire again, so it's a shame he had to get the penalty here.

Quietly, I agree and he could have a good chance from 6th

I'd like to see Webber win one and this will be his best chance of the year so far

I'm looking forward to Ron Howard's film 'Rush' about the 1976 duel between Hunt and Lauda. Due out in spring 2013.

The actors bear more than a passing resemblance to their characters ...

I hope Hunt's "Sex - Breakfast of Champions" badge will make an appearance ...

Your wish comes true.

Now can say you'd like to see me win the lottery and see if that happens too.

Betting on the pole sitter at Monaco isn't much of a gamble ;-)

A well deserved win though. I had a horrible feeling Vettel was going to be able to get enough of an advantage to pit and come out in the lead, which would have been crap as he'd have only managed it by not bothering with Q3.
