Does anyone think that ride height had any bearing on the results in Q2 and Q3 today ?

I only mention it as Hamilton was around 0.8 quicker than the rest in Q2, but was then about a second adrift in Q3.

From memory the inters raise the car by 3mm or so and the full wets add another couple of millimetres to that.

Maybe McLaren are more set up for an out and out wet race whereas the Ferraris are going somewhere between wet and dry.

I agree with that totally, I just got back today ... going to be a crazy race tomorrow if the weather has anything to do with it, that is for sure!

I had a grandstand ticket for tomorrow.

I am sure it is a sign of getting old (I made it for both quali & race in April 2000) but I'm not going to bother tomorrow.

the thought of driving through all the crap to get to the circuit, parking in a 'muddy field' of a car park, watching the F1 cars pass for a few seconds each lap, often cold, exposed to the elements and with the view obstructed by hats umbrella's and large people and then having to queue for hours before the hours of driving home on a Sunday evening is not my idea of fun either ... with the exception of Monaco I think watching F1 is best done from the armchair in HD and ultimately on SKY (they have the better commentators and coverage IMO), then again that could be my age showing too

Been looking at tickets for Spa or Monza, having never been to either, looking at the layout of the circuits is Monza worth it? It doesn't look the most interesting track

Would have liked Hamilton to have done better today, hopefully he'll have a better race tomorrow than the last.

I've not been to Monza but Spa does take some beating. Fantastic place for the circuit.

I have been down t Spa Francorchamps a number of times for the GP and have always go wet, but always had great time. It is a tremendous place to watch racing cars.

I think Monza would also be a fantatic place to visit, especially if Ferrari are on song and in with a chance of a win - my understanding is II have never been myself) that the atmosphere created by the tifosi add greatly to the occasion.

Spa is a wonderful circuit, with the added bonus that it isn't too far to drive to either.
