Yes exactly ... F1 is now about racing and not about technological advantages so much, Dembo, Buntinboy9 I agree with both of your comments completely. I think the tyres are frustrating most drivers but as you say Buntinboy this is what was asked of Pirelli, they delivered ... it really is fun to watch F1 again, bring on Canada !

Very interesting, I would like to see more detail and would not like to be the driver!

Fantastic video, kudos to Sauber for doing that. I never knew the driver sat like that! Shows how tightly packed everything is as well!

Good find!

The driver's footwell is as cramped as I imagined it would be. Note their ar$es are well below their feet ...

1982 for me

F1 in 2012 is contrived. It's WWF. We don't know who the fastest drivers are. Maldonado? Rosberg? Perez? Grosjean?

6 winners in 7 races is not F1 - it's not even GP2 or A1GP (RIP) The cars, in the races, trundle around at a similar pace to GP2 qualifying. It's about preservation - driving to a delta. DRS, tyres and more tyres.

I prefer the old days because you knew who was fast. It was a meritocray. The best were at the top with the rest aspiring to get to the top. The cream would rise - your Vettel's Hamilton's, Perez etc, but there was none of this Sauber or a Williams (privateer teams) chasing down a Ferrari on pace.

I don't like a close field in my sport. It confuses me. F1 2012 confuses me so I don't watch it.

Williams always used to chase down Ferrari and McLaren, for a long time they were the team to beat!
