It took me a while to work out what a MW season was, but yes. Hamilton seems better at driving around problems in the car, the same situation as Alonso and Massa at the start of the year. Having said that, at Silverstone neither McLaren were up to much, and considering where Button started you could say he drove better than Hamilton.

I think the real issue is that because F1 is so wonderfully close this year, anyone who has a bit of a bad weekend now find themselves 10 places down, whereas in previous years it might not have made much difference.

Are there any major reg changes next season? If there's not, it'll be even closer.

lol yeah sorry I follow Mark very closely and actually started doing that because

1. I like how he tells everything straight and says whats on his mind.
2. He worked his ass off to get where he is now (from what I have read and researched)
3. My best friend is a Seb friend

So when i said that i should have been more detailed... Just having more struggles with the car. I am finding that most of the better drivers do extremely well, relatively of course, if they start in the back. Ik LH and MW did it earlier in the season as well as a few others.

Who do we think has the upper hand in the German Grand Prix? Me being a relatively new fan (second year of following) I am still learning the tracks and their corners...

(at least for one more year, 2013) I think Schumacher will decide to stay at Mercedes because he is smart and knows the reason for the lack of points is truthfully bad luck! I think if Massa does a consistent top 5 finish with 3-4 podiums this year we will be asked to stay. What do you guys think about JB? Yeah I like Webber, thoroughly good guy and seemingly competitive this year. I think JB will stay where he is (if Maclaren allow it), he needs to get to grips with that car sooner rather than later though ... to state the obvious.

I personally felt the British GP was quite dull for some reason, maybe I missed a few things, but it just seemed processional almost.

Yeah he IS a World Champion as well. I wonder what has changed from the beginning of the season for him though.

I thought it was a great race but that might be because lap 48 was one of the best damn laps of the season lol (go MW!)

It did solidify my strong dislike for Pastor Maldonado though. But did Kimi look strong at the end or what?

I felt that was 50/50. Raikonnen tried to take Maldanado in the same way at the same corner, but Maldanado fought back in the same way and Raikonnen took to the grass to avoid him. Whereas Perez held the line, gave Maldanado nowhere to go, and was taken out of the race. Maybe Perez had reason to complain, but the wiser more experienced Raikonnen survived to score points.

The middle part certainly seemed that way (I was there this weekend), and would probably have seemed more boring if it were not for Webber hunting down Alonso near the end, a nice crescendo to the finish. An interesting weekend though, largely due to the weather. I took a whole bunch of photos of the whole weekend, some of which I've posted here, if anyone's interested.

I didnt see RAI and MAL so I didnt know about that. But it was almost the same scenario when he went into HAM at Valencia (minus the long DRS straight vs a small chicane), they were taking a left hand turn and both times it looked like he just pushed through because he carried too much speed. He needs to learn that the move wont be able to be made from that position. I will agree though that PRZ (cant remember his abbreviation) did not give him as much room as needed and should have done, unlike when WEB passed ALO for the lead.

At Velencia it was Maldanado trying to go round the outside, so kind of opposite. And in fact, on that occasion, Raikonnen had tried to take Hamilton in the same place the lap before, and again avoided the collision (and again picked up some points).
