I think Red Bull want two top drivers, and there isn't really anybody else. But yes it's hard to see them getting on as teammates.

I'll be at Silverstone tomorrow collecting donations (chugging?) for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Slightly worried that it's going to hammer down with rain and there will be no cars on the track

....oh and the £60 to park your car in the car park

are they having a laugh
Yes. British tickets are the most expensive on the calendar.

Hence why I would never go.

Or exactly what they need to show him he doesn't run the show.

They build the best cars which if you put any one of the top drivers in they will win. This has gone to Vettels head and he thinks he's bigger than the team. Put a truly competitive driver in the other seat and let him see how replaceable he is.

Plus they are a marketing platform, and Kimi has a cult following because of how straight talking and blunt he is.

Have to say that I think Webber has had the look of a beaten man about him for some time now. It's clear RBR don't care about him, and all their focus in on "Golden Balls" and has been for a few years now. The team orders scandal eariler this year, was probably the final nail for him. Good luck to him with Porsche next year.

I would be surprised to see Kimi move there. He's top dog at Lotus, and doing very well to boot. Anyone moving to RBR will play second fiddle to Horner's little boy. My money would be on Ricciardo from Red Bull Racing team B Toro Rosso getting the drive. He's had some decent drives this year and is performing well in a slower car.

Lotus seem to be in financial trouble I hear elsewhere so Kimi might want a move, don't think SV would fancy him as a team mate, especially as one who might just punch him in the throat if he caused bother. would be entertaining though.

I've changed my mind.
Now I want to see these two side by side. Kimi would chin him in a heart beat

I think Lotus and Kimi seem to be a good combination, so it would be sad to see that change (and who would be Lotus' number 1?).

However Kimi is no stranger to the Red Bull brand..

All but agreed I think.

There's rumours Maldanado might go to Lotus, with all his millions in sponsorship it would probably make sense for them.

Great GP2 race this afternoon, though the organisers cocked up the end. The leaders ended up stopping in the old pit lane, presumably directed there by the marshals, rather than the proper positions in front of the podium so they then had to send a car to collect them. And then when they were meant to be interviewed on the podium, they played music over it and didn't switch the microphones on. Doh!

Well, I guess there's an argument for putting both Maldonado and Grosjean in the same coloured car, makes them easy to spot for everyone else
