The Formula 1 Thread - 2013
I used the time he was talking crap to get my crisps/snacks ready along with large beer by my side, but I can do that without him, one and only visit I hope.
Enjoyed today race. Looks like everyone was up for some racing which made a nice change compared to Monaco the other week.
Shame twat face won, but apart from that it was very enjoyable to watch. Great to see Lewis and Alonso dueling once again on track

Increased my enjoyment of yesterday's race courtesy of the official F1 2013 Timing App. Although I've attached my tablet to the old dear's Sky account (I have Virgin), the Sky app isn't compatible with my Galaxy Tab so it's either this or the red button for things like the driver tracker. Switching between options on the red button is slow and sometimes glitchy so I reckon this is the best bet.
The free version (as far as I could see anyway) does nothing other than show you what the paid for version will look like, so with minutes before the race start, Bernie's coffers took £20 off me. That is a "season ticket" so I suppose not bad value spread over the entire season.

Certainly had all the info I needed and if anything, I found myself pouring over this at the expense of the onscreen TV action ...

Vettel was obviously untouchable, but the rest of the race wasn't bad. Di Resta managed to go to lap 56 on one set of tyres - how fragile can they be?
I am a Brundle fan but just can't hack the rest of the Sky coverage. DC is proving excellent both in terms of knowledge and banter. Lee McKenzie is good in the pits and Gary Anderson has been a great technical addition. I hate to say it but Suzy Perry has been a bit of a disappointment.
Bring Brundle back to BBC and we'd have the perfect team ...

If only you'd paid slightly more attention in school you might have been able to afford to watch Martin Brundle. :-)

What the feck is Jordan on? Annoying little twat was an embarasment during quali yesterday and being VERY patronising today. As for his grid walk

Agree that the race was pretty good.
