If you saw the second GP2 race, there was a big accident after the chequered flag thanks to some confusion with the 3rd place driver going straight on to the podium, and the 4th place driver being directed through a gap in the wall for the GP2 paddock.
They're turning it into nancy-boys sport, ffs these guys are supposedly the best drivers in the world, yet not capable of giving someone a lift?
And bring back compulsory smoking, drinking and shagging birds too.
Man the fcuk up F1!

Did someone watch Hunt and Ratty last night then
A reprimand is more than fair, and it's Marks own fault he's on 3.
It was pretty exciting again at the end. Not the race for the lead obviously, but how good was Hulkenberg?
I was thinking wouldn't it be good if there was a rule that as soon as somebody ties up the championship they're not allowed to finish the rest of the season? Then if Vettel wins it in Japan, we can have four Vettel free races with Alonso vs Raikonnen vs Grosjean vs Hamilton for the win. That'd be thrilling.

I'd love to see a height and weight article done. Given how much of an impact they know fuel weight makes to lap times I have to wonder how much of the advantage Vettel and Hamilton have had over Webber and Button can be attributed to the drivers height and weight.
I think for the rest of the season it's best to think of Vettel as the rabbit on a greyhound track with everyone behind doing the racing.
The height and weight thing is interesting. You wouldnt think under 5 kilos would make such a difference when your talking the sort of power/weight ratios they have in F1.
I'm sure this has been covered on this forum before but at the risk of going slightly o/t its always interesting to hear the debate about how much height and weight affects lap times when go karting.
I love karting but one of the things I find frustrating is a fair few of my mates have over 20kgs weight advantage on me and the difference in acceleration is massive even if I've drawn a 'quick' kart.
They claim what I lose in acceleration I will make up for in grip as i've got more downforce. Got to be absolute rubbish in my opinion - if you load a car up with 4 people it doesn't handle better - quite the opposite in fact.
If I'm in front of them I can normally keep them behind if I drive very defensively and/or actively block them but once they are in front I get left behind at probably half a second a lap on a 45 second lap. VERY frustrating when I'm convinced they are not even that good at racing!
Someone tell me its not just sour grapes (like they all tell me) and the fact that nearly every winner I see when karting is about 5 foot 4 is not just a coincidence! I'd be interested to hear if anyone has 'ballasted up' and seen how much extra weight adds on how much extra time in a go kart!

In a kart weight may gain you traction but not downforce like a wing would generate. That kind of downforce only works in one direction. Your body mass once it has momentum applies that force in what ever direction it's moving. So driving forward and braking, your mass is applying forward force as well as downforce so you take longer and the same when turning, the momentum of your body mass wants to carry on going straight. Add that into what it does to the power to weight ratio and in something as small and light as a kart it really counts.
Nothing like the force applied downwards through aero which is a relatively linear force.
And in an F1 car it is a small impact. Something like 3kg adding 1/10 of a second. But teams spend millions on developments that give them a tenth. Making your driver run triathlons is so much cheaper.
