A great chassis can do just the same though. The Elise has saved my arse on a number of occasions that I know the S2K would probably have killed me due to lack of finesse/adjustability/grip.

I do things in the Elise that I wouldn't dream of in the S2K, neither would the S2K have been able to do them.

GE2 - Looks like you got one with it fitted as an option!
Just been out and checked mine encase I have something I didn't find
Nothing there other than the climate sensor grill
I've got the Mk4 but with controls on the steering wheel and I'm sure the dials are different.

Cat D it is then

That Mk6 looks like the dash has melted

I'm confused now

I've got silver trim round the stereo, it's the one just before they introduced si-drive which I think was 07 onwards.
My (non Spec B) Legacy has the skiddy car TC button under the steering wheel, it's a 54 reg.

But it's a n/a auto, so I've never seen it come on. And only switched it iff once when I did donuts in the auction mart car park, much to the delight of the farm boys (and the disdain of the old boys).

It's definitely got a RWD bias then?

Just had a quick nose around, skiddy car is standard on the autos.

Subaru do some strange things.

I should imagine the Japanese logic follows; autos & skiddy for the more relaxed driver, who wants to cover ground effortlessly.

Stick & non-skiddy for the weight-obsessed banzai boy-racer type. Few stick are sold in Japan.

That might explain why my manual has no skiddy car!
Didn't realise there was so many "leggie" owners on here!

Any way back top topic
Most my recent cars have had some form of skiddy car
TBH I've never bothered messing with it
but I've never leant on it either (other than in the S )

Now that's weird
My 05 spec B doesn't have any SC
But like you say it doesn't need it!
My brother has an 06 Spec B, didnt notice any SC when i took it for a spin recently! His is the manual one as well, good car for sure but definitely doesnt need any stability anyway!
