Anyone used the "glass" type fuel filter, chrome ends, screw together,seals etc. and if so have you had any probs with it specifically the "glass" (advertised as glass but which is plastic!)getting micro cracks in it and eventually leaking?

Put one on a car just over two years ago and today it decided to give up...will post a pic when I have got it uploaded. Micro fractures and the ends of the tube, that seal to the rubbers, curling up.

The filter was totally clean and in fact I am almost tempted to run without one now.

I would like a glass phial one again but am reluctant to buy another without some sort of recommend...
