Same Sloth.

34 degrees is too hot to do anything in this country. That's cold beer territory / snoozing in between them. No way you'd get me out astride a bike in that. Anything +30 is just hot misery.

Picked one of these up for a smidge over £200 from Germany - fits armour, zips to trousers - feels like riding in fresh air. That's now my jacket for dry summer days.

i wear my leather jacket haha. just without the liner, use that through winter with a proper tech insulating fleece inside. thats dainese too

in summer just the jacket, if it rains i have a JTS jacket which i dont like but is very waterproof. their stuff is good, use their jeans too..

I tried perforated leather ( no liner in that ) but it's just not cool enough for the really hot ( 25 degress + ) days. Only my upper half / head that seems to suffer the most. Like you, no way i am ever riding without proper gear / armour, it's just not worth the risk and it's the day you don't wear it that you'll end up needing it.

Washed the cars and the bike today, dried them and then me with the leaf blower.

New tank bag for me. Can't get on with the Bagster stuff as it sits too close to me. Found a tiny 5L Givi tank lock one that will do nicely instead. Less space but that's fine - it's only for holding bits and bobs on short runs without panniers on.
