The paint shop may have improved with that then
I recall my contact there pointing to a stash of ~150 engines wrapped in polythene on pallets and him saying that is all the stock of the egnies in the world for (insert forgotten model name here!) hence we have bought them all and are holding them here.

it's a 2 seat GT car not an out and out racer.. for that it's quick
0-100 in sub 10s in fact it's 2s quicker than a Z4M, F355 fast.

the V12 is the racers version but if you want a really quick car you'd pick something lighter
Depends which version it is

Evo tested the 380 BHP model at 12.XX. to 100, as mentioned not that quick

Can't remember the exact number, but it was point one of a second quicker than the cayman to 100, nothing like sub 10 to 100 mph

Which was my point earlier about it been Cayman S quick.. Believe me, I've been there and seen it on our road trip in Germany, the two cars (AMV8 4.3 version) are very closely matched although we had 184mph out of the Cayman so maybe the Aston might struggle to keep up at that speed!!

I love the AM Vantage - it is simply gorgeous with more than enough performance (for me, obviously not all the hamilton / button / mansell / s) on here.

It is a work of art, exquisitely composed and formed and sounds fantastic.

Having test driven one, there is no other high performance car I want. It felt so special.

Best of all it is BRITISH and not a foreign interloper.
Time to get up certain peoples noses and fly the Union Jack and St Georges flag and be proud to flaunt Britishness.

I love my S as I did my MX-5, but harbour a deep shame that I'm forced to buy Jap. to enjoy reliable al fresco sporting motoring.

As I said it was the factory paint shop at Gaydon
So not just one, they looked like patch work quilts with the amount of filler patches on them.
Now the Rolls Royce plant at Chichester that is like an operating theater!

Nick you have a point - isn't the MD of Aston a German?
When Dad eventually sold the DB9 he got a call a few weeks later asking if it had been crashed (which it hadn't) because 3 of the panels were a different colour.

The V12 engine is sublime, the only true downside of having a V12 is that everyone else is still driving 100hp 4 pots and you catch up with them WAY too fast .

Still, ge's mate will own it for precisely one year and get sick of it

We were meant to be going to pick it up today, it's ready but it wasn't convenient for the dealers and apparently they're being a PITA about when it's collected.

Mate's not impressed and I don't blame him, you'd expect the whole 'experience' to be as special as the car.

When I picked up my jap crap estate car, the saleman opened shop at stupid o'clock in the morning to accommodate my plans for the day with no hesitation at all.

I think I'm more disappointed than he is
