That almost sounds like the police have advised you to commit a crime. And what have the Olympics got to do with anything?

ANPR not being able to read slightly smaller or differently spaced number plates is BS.

I was having a think about this and remembered that the ANPR car parking system at Stansted can read my numberplate but the one at Luton airport can't.

why not just get legal plates?

I love the advice that the police man gave about not breaking the law? what's that all about? Excuse Mr Burglar, you should get out of that house as it's not yours as we are having a crack down on crime with the Olympics coming up. You can keep the TV this time, but we'll probably stop you again if you continue to do it...

we're doomed.

I've had this plate on 4 S2000's and 2 Vantages
Never once been stopped (tempting fate now )
I carry a legal set in the boot just incase
